Canadian Outdoor Equipment [EVO Experience]

During the EVO experience we had an assignment to create a story/commercial to show who and what Canadian Outdoor Equipment is all about. Chris Scerri one of the owners joined us for the commercial and also starred in it with Marissa Dolotallas. If it wasn't for the camp fire I think my hands would of fallen off. Hahaha! Seriously it was a great time and everyone who worked on it did a fabulous job. Thanks for the Experience SM and friends!!!

South Seas Island Resort Wedding- Mallory + Ryan

On Saturday May 21, 2011 Mallory and Ryan were wed at Sunset Cove at the beautiful South Seas Island Resort on Captiva  Island.  This was a complete destination wedding and all 200 plus guests were from out of state.  After the ceremony guests boarded a trolly and headed over to King's Crown Lawn for cocktail hour and then a reception under a tent.   Here our a few of our favorite pictures.  The cake was provided by Kakes by Karen and the  gorgeous florals were from Floral Artistry.  We enjoyed our night at South Seas and we wish Mallory and Ryan many many happy years together !

LaPlaya Beach Resort Wedding - Bre + Brian

Some weddings are just FUN.  That's the best way to describe Bre and Brian's big day.  On Sunday, May 22, 2011 Bre and Brian were married at LaPlaya Beach Resort  in Naples, Florida.  This was a complete destination wedding of 100 guests, none from Naples.  We started with Bre and Brian as they were about to do a First Sighting.  That is always such a fun moment to capture.  For those who are new to the wedding world - a first sighting is when a bride and groom see each other for the first time prior to the ceremony to take pictures and video.  Their ceremony  and cocktail hour took place on the gulf lawn.  Dinner was then at the North Pool under the stars.  Later guests walked over to the Bayview Ballroom where they were rocked by the Brett Foreman Band.  There were many memorable moments throughout the evening, but watching Bre and Brian do "the worm" was certainly a memorable moment for me!  We enjoyed working with Jamie Lee Photography.  Florals were done by Botanicals On The Gulf and Cake by Ella's Cakes.
Best of luck to Bre and Brian.  We were happy to be part of your wonderful wedding day.

AnnMarie Says....

I LOVE many things.  One thing in particular is shoes.  I just adore a cute pair of shoes.  These are some pictures that Steven and I took one day while we were hanging around downtown Fort Myers.  What is so interesting about these sparkly shoes is that since I purchased them last November, we have had 2 of our brides get married in them.  I got so excited when I saw my favorite Kate Spade's on our brides.  Totally made my day.  And yes, they are very comfortable...even better!!

iheART Films Travels to Toronto For an AWESOME Workshop!!

When AnnMarie and I started iheART Films we knew we just didn't want to "video" weddings. We wanted to do something different.  We are both very unique people who have lots ideas constantly floating around our heads.   I decided to look around and see what inspired me in the video world and I found a company who I really connected to immediately.  So, without any hesitation I signed up for the week long workshop they offered in Toronto, Canada.  AnnMarie couldn't accompany me this time, but she is looking forward to a workshop in Cayman Islands in the fall, and I am super jealous!  Anyway, my experience at Still Motions workshop was everything I hoped it would be and more.  I am truly inspired and can not wait to implement all I got out of my time there.   I am so excited and thank you to Still Motion for the best workshop ever!

Disney Weekend in Orlando with Dance Dimensions

We were so very excited about heading to Orlando to capture the Dance Dimensions Show Troop weekend!  This was a first for Steven and I to shoot a dance performance and we were stoked. We started out at the Medieval Times where the girls performed to warm up the crowd for the main event. Between the horse riding, knight fighting and eating with our hands, it was so much fun. The dancers had a blast!
The following morning we took a trip to Animal Kingdom and enjoyed some wildlife.  After a relaxing day, we prepared for the main event. Downtown Disney was AWESOME! We got there early to set up for their performance not knowing what to expect. As the sun fell, the lights turned on, and the performance began. The dancers all worked so hard and the end result paid off!! We are now working on a video of the Medieval Times performance and the Disney performance. Trailer coming soon!! Congratulations to all dancers for an excellent performance... PS HARRY POTTER WORLD WAS EPIC!!

Help our Southern Heirloom bride - Martha's Wedding

When we received a call from our good friend and wedding planner extraordinaire Kelly McWilliams she was in tears and we knew right away what needed to be done.  We were saddened by the news that one of Kelly's brides lost everything in the aftermath of the Alabama tornados that recently destroyed peoples homes and worse yet, took many lives.  Kelly, always going the extra mile for her clients, asked us to quickly put together a short video to assist Martha - the bride to be.  The generosity  of the wedding community has been amazing and we are so grateful.  Our prayers and thoughts are with Martha and all the people affected by this terrible storm.
