Mike and Helene had a Captiva Island wedding that was truly one of the most beautiful weddings we had ever seen.  Everything about it was spectacular.  On Sunday November 10, 2013 Helene arrived by horse and carriage to Sunset Cove at South Seas Island Resort. Here, under a tent facing the ocean, 160 guests looked on as the couple said their vows.  On the west lawn of South Seas, another tent was set for a night of dinner and dancing.  A good time was had by all.  Congratulations Mike and Helene on your wedding! xo

South Seas Resort Wedding | Michelle + Luke

On Saturday June 22, 2013 Michelle and Luke had a beautiful destination wedding at South Seas Island Resort on Captiva Island.   They were wed at Sunset Cove and then guests boarded on a trolly and headed over to the West Lawn for the one of the prettiest tent reception's I have seen.  This wedding was so much fun that all though later on it was pouring rain out, I don't think the guests and our couple even noticed as they danced NON STOP under the tent all night long.  Thank goodness for wedding planners.  A big congratulations to our new couple and thank you for sharing your day with us.  Movie trailer to follow...stay tuned.  xo

Verandah Country Club Wedding - {Jessica + Brian}

Jessica and Brian had an awesome old Florida style wedding!  On Saturday September 22, 2012 Jessica and Brian were wed at the Verandah Country Club in Fort Myers, Florida overlooking the Orange River.  This is a country club that I just love.  Mostly because it is so NOT Florida and I really  like the change.  Big oak trees, moss hanging, so charming with a northern feel is what you get the second you enter the property.  We enjoyed spending the evening with our newest couple and wish them all the happiness in the world! xo

Weddings By Socialites - A Wedding Planner's Video

Wedding Planner Kelly McWilliams went off to San Diego for another one of those amazing industry conferences she goes to, engage!11,  and came back with many great business ideas to implement.  Her biggest priority was having a behind the scenes video produced!  She called Steven and I over to her studio for a meeting right away, very excited to share her ideas.   She wanted two promotional videos done and she was excited about getting it started right away.  And so were we! A promotional video can be very powerful because they are so engaging.  Especially for someone who truly caters to the destination bride as Kelly does.

So, Finally!  We have been working with Kelly for a very long time to complete these two videos.  I must say I LOVE them both.  One of them is all about what Kelly does as a wedding planner, which is very informative for those of you who don't know the role a wedding planner has in the planning process.  Brides, you just may want to consider hiring a planner (if you haven't all ready) after seeing this video.  It was very interesting to me, as a videographer, to see all that goes on behind the scenes before I ever show up on wedding day.   After all these years of working with Kelly,  I really did not know all that was really involved with planning and executing wedding day.  The other video I call "Who is Kelly?"  Those of you who know Kelly, will be like, "yup, that is sooo Kelly...."

Grace Ormonde Shoot !

We work with some awesome people in the wedding world.  It's obvious we all LOVE what we do.  When Kelly McWilliams, of Weddings By Socialites told us her idea for a styled shoot for Grace Ormonde we knew this was going to be a great opportunity for all involved.  Plus Photos AND video!   

Not many submit VIDEO when only Photography is asked for....What a great idea! Kelly put together a talented  team of people.  We put in a 14 hour day at the gorgeous Mediterra Country Club.  And we really enjoyed every minute of it.  Here is the final video that we submitted to Grace Ormonde for their blog. We are happy to say they loved it and published both the photography AND the video from the shoot in their blog!  The first video is the final cut we call "Destiny".  The second video is the "behind the scenes".

South Seas Island Resort Wedding - Alyson + Michael

Alyson and Michael had a fantastic destination wedding at the always beautiful South Seas Island Resort on Captiva Island.   The details on this wedding were pretty darn amazing I could not possibly list them all.  Their movie trailer will cover that in time :)  But  First, I loved Alyson's hanger for her dress...It said November 5, 2011, which was their wedding date.  Secondly, I fell in love  with Alyson's Blue  Kate Spade Shoes.  You all know how much I adore Kate Spade !  The tent looked amazing after Kelly McWilliams and her team were done with it.  Just take a look at a few of our photos  below and see how perfect the reception area looked.  Clint Wiley and his band None Other, put on a rock star performance, as can be expected.  Kakes By Karen's cake was to die for.  We worked with Concept Photography for the first time and enjoyed spending the day shooting with them.  Floral Artistry provided the florals, and in our pictures below you can also check them out.  We had the best time ever at this wedding, and we are sure the guests did too. We have the proof!    We wish Alyson and Michael all the best as they start their new lives together.

Hyatt Coconut Point Resort and Spa Wedding - Nicole + Stephen

Nicole and Stephen had a perfect wedding day.  Their wedding took place at the Hyatt Regency Coconut Point on Friday October 21, 2011 in Bonita Springs, Florida.  We enjoyed working with Kelly McWilliams and her team from Weddings By Socialites, Karl and Nanette from Luminaire Foto, DJ Gabel from DJ Stereophonics and Mike Dolch from The Hyatt.  Here are a few details we captured.  The gorgeous florals were done by Kevin from Botanicals on The Gulf.  Movie Trailer to come soon! Theatrical RELEASE "Style Shoot Behind The Scenes"

On September 22, 2011 We had the privilege to show our work at the Mercado SILVERSPOT Cinema  in Naples of our behind the scene footage, AND our FEATURE film!! Very Exciting for us to see our work on the BIG SCREEN :). This wouldn't be possible if it wasn't for all the hard work everyone put in, and Kelly's great idea to show it at a theatre. We can not show you the finished feature film yet - but ...Here is our Behind the Scenes Footage of the Style shoot, HOPE you ENJOY!

Martha's Wedding - A Sweet Tea Bar and.....

I  JUST LOVE  SWEET TEA!  We were lucky enough to be at Martha's wedding where Wedding Planner Kelly McWilliams had this amazing sweet tea bar set up.  Some of you might remember Kelly's bride Martha, the bride from Alabama who was a victim of that terrible tornado tragedy.  Her wedding day had finally arrived.  We were at this wedding shooting from a completely different perspective.  We are shooting a project for Kelly - more to follow on that in the future.  So, back to the Sweet Tea. What an awesome idea, complete with mason jars to drink out of and custom made straws with Martha and Toms initials on it for this southern bride!  Why didn't I think of that?  Well, maybe because I'm not a wedding planner...  Between that, the candy station,  and the dessert bar set up, yes I was in heaven.  Enjoy a few quick snapshots and then go raid your refrigerator.  

PS  It's even nicer the next day when your wedding planner friend shows up with sweet tea and green mint among other treats for a day by the pool :)  I love my job.
