South Seas Resort Wedding | Helene + Mike

Mike and Helene had a Captiva Island wedding that was truly one of the most beautiful weddings we had ever seen.  Everything about it was spectacular.  On Sunday November 10, 2013 Helene arrived by horse and carriage to Sunset Cove at South Seas Island Resort. Here, under a tent facing the ocean, 160 guests looked on as the couple said their vows.  On the west lawn of South Seas, another tent was set for a night of dinner and dancing.  A good time was had by all.  Congratulations Mike and Helene on your wedding! xo

South Seas Island Resort Wedding | Emily + Brian

The long awaited destination wedding of Emily and Brian had finally come.  We had booked Emily over a year ago, had been looking forward to their wedding for quite a long time.  On Saturday, April 27, 2013 Emily and Brian were married at South Seas Island Resort at Sunset Cove by our friend Dr. Dan Lamey.  Emily had some great details at her wedding that were beyond gorgeous.  Firstly, take a look at this tent set up on Kings Crown Lawn.  Pretty amazing.  Kakes By Karen's cake, simply elegant and always delicious.  Right down to the perfect pair of shoes, and the sparkler exit, Emily and Brian had a night to remember.  We wish them all the happiness in the world.  Congratulations to our newlyweds.  I hope you are enjoying your honeymoon in Hawaii!  xoxoxoxoxox

South Seas Resort Wedding | Dana + Richard

Dana and Richard came all the way from Alabama to have their dream destination wedding on Thursday April 25, 2013 at South Seas Island Resort.   Their day was absolutely beautiful.  The weather was breezy and sky was blue.  Their ceremony took place at Sunset Cove and their outdoor reception was on the Kings Crown Lawn.   The moment I saw Dana I was beyond excited. After 14 years of weddings, I had yet to see a blush colored wedding dress.  Can I say LOVE!  Dana looked AMAZING.  Actually, if I were to be planing my own wedding, I would have some very similar details as Dana and Richard did.  I loved all the colorful lanterns incorporated in the decor.   Best of luck to Dana and Richard as they begin their new life together.  xo

South Seas Resort Wedding | Kyle + Mary

On Saturday April 13, 2013 Mary and Kyle were married at Sunset Cove at South Seas Island Resort on Captiva Island.  The weather was breezy and perfect for this destination wedding of about 160 guests. The reception continued on under a tent at the Kings Crown Lawn.  I had 2 favorite details from this wedding.  One was the cake made by Kakes By Karen.  I just love the unique cake topper.  The other was the tent.  Look down at a quick picture of how gorgeous this set up really is.  Congratulations to Mary and Kyle.  xo

Monday's have been very popular this year for weddings.  I kinda like it.

On Monday, August 13, 2012 Kelly and Chase traveled from Michigan to get married on Sunset Cove at South Seas Island Resort on Captiva Island.  I really love these monogramed hangers.  I think I need to get one.  Congratulations Kelly and Chase, your destination wedding was just perfect and there was no rain   - only blue skies :)

Tween Waters Resort and Spa Wedding - Amy + Derek

Amy and Derek came all the way from Missouri, to get married on the beach at Tween Waters Resort on Captiva Island on Friday June 1, 2012.  They said their i-do's just in time, seconds after they walked back down the aisle the rain started.  Perfect timing!   Bob Pitt performed their sweet ceremony, and Tonya Malay and team did their photography.  Congratulations Amy and Derek.  We wish you all the happiness in the world.
